Care before craft
We begin with context, consent, condition, and responsible material choices.
About the studio
Evenplane Herbarium began as a shared table for specimen notes, paper tests, and conversations about how to make nature-led work without treating nature as decoration.
Our story
Our courses bring together field observation, archival thinking, composition, and writing. Lessons are designed to be useful at a kitchen table, in a studio, or wherever a maker can create a little room for concentration.
We teach with clear limits: responsible sourcing matters, materials deserve respect, and a beautiful result should never depend on exaggerated claims. Every study is an invitation to notice more carefully.
We begin with context, consent, condition, and responsible material choices.
Small repeatable exercises make confidence more durable than rushed perfection.
We value honest documentation and compositions that leave space to think.
